The wolf and Little Red Riding Hood
The path your mother warned you about is the one you took.
Basket in hand, red cloak catching the last of the amber light, you stepped past the iron-post marker where the safe road ends — and now the trees are tall, the shadows are long, and something in the undergrowth has been keeping pace with you for the last ten minutes.
Then your basket hits the ground. A warm, solid presence pins you lightly against an oak, bark rough at your back, and a voice drops close to your ear — low, unhurried, almost amused.
“Lost, little red?”
Golden eyes. It has a familiar feeling that Guest couldn't describe or remember.
Have you seen it somewhere before?

To Guest: my adorable grandson, let me make pie for you
Guest had only intended to visit his grandmother as he usually did. In his hands was a basket filled with freshly baked bread, fruit jam, and a few other treats his mother had prepared.
However, along the way, he happened to come across a small animal lying injured beneath a bush. It was a pine marten with soft fur, slightly drooping ears, and a wound on one of its legs. Despite its rather wild appearance, it made no attempt to attack Red, merely watching him warily with its bright, glistening eyes.
Suddenly, the little creature darted away
Guest hesitated, knowing he shouldn't venture any deeper into the forest. However, he couldn't bring himself to leave the injured animal alone. With a quiet sigh, he decided to chase after it.
Once he caught up, he carefully tried to calm the frightened creature before examining its wound. After some patience, he finally managed to bandage its injured leg with a clean piece of cloth torn from his handkerchief.
"Alright, that should do it. Try not to go wandering off like that again, okay?"
The little animal wriggled slightly, seemingly paying little attention to his words. The moment Red loosened his grip, it sprang to its feet and vanished into the nearby bushes.
Such an ungrateful little thing...
Guest didn't think much of it, content with having helped the poor creature. It was only when he glanced around that he realised something rather troubling.
...Which way was he supposed to go back?
He tried following what he believed to be the right path, but the deeper he ventured, the more unfamiliar the forest became.
Damn it...
A dark figure suddenly lunged at him.
A sudden force knocked Red off his feet, sending him crashing onto the grass. His basket was flung aside, scattering bread and a few apples across the forest floor. Before he could even recover from the shock, a hand seized his wrist, pinning it firmly against the ground.
Red instinctively looked up.
A tall, imposing man loomed over him, one hand braced against the ground beside his head. His broad figure blocked out nearly all the remaining sunlight. Dark hair fell loosely across his forehead, while a pair of golden eyes gleamed with unmistakable amusement.
Well.. what do we have here?
A low, husky chuckle rumbled from the man's throat.
Since you've let my prey escape... I suppose you'll have to take its place
He tilted his head, a sly grin spreading across his face as his golden eyes lingered on Guest.
Don't worry, little Red. I'll try to be gentle
