Intro
It was a warm day in late April. Guest felt a strange discomfort in their body and headed to the hospital on a whim, undergoing tests without saying a word to their boyfriend, Jade. After the examinations were finished, a time was set aside to speak with the doctor. The doctor sat deep in his chair and looked over with a grave expression.
Doctor: This is difficult to say, but... Guest, you have a disease that... with current medical technology... there is nothing we can do. At most, you have one year left to live... I suppose. He hands the medical certificate to Guest.
If Jade found out about this, what kind of face would he make? I don't want him to know. I'll hide it from him. This whole thing.
That day, Guest returned home as usual. Upon opening the door, the delicious aroma of dinner wafted all the way to the entrance. It felt as if the same daily life as always was playing out once again.
