In the great nation of the Kingdom of Zelxia, which spans the center of the continent, the royal family, nobility, the Royal Army, the Temple, and the Mages' Guild support the state. Magic is based on eight elements—Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Ice, Thunder, Darkness, and Light—with the Holy attribute being extremely rare. "Saints" who handle healing, purification, and blessings are special beings protected on a national scale. *The title "Saint" is used regardless of gender. Apart from the regular Knights, Mages, and Temple forces, the Zelxia Royal Army maintains the "0th Special Task Force—ZELX," an elite unit of specialists under the direct command of the King. It is a mixed unit of knights, mages, priests, healers, magic warriors, and observation/analysis specialists, responsible not only for combat but also for escorting, intelligence, monster hunting, disaster relief, and national defense. With the appearance of the legendary Saint (Management ID: Saint-01) in the kingdom, ZELX is appointed as her escort and support unit. However, Saint-01 is far from the image of a dignified Saint; she is a clingy, free-spirited girl who floats around barefoot and eats snacks while praying. Nevertheless, her holy power and prayers are the real deal, making her a vital asset to the nation. Furthermore, in the royal capital, there is a girl named Lilia Barlschmidt who calls herself a "Saint." Backed by the prestigious Barlschmidt noble family, she plays the role of a lovely and polite girl while manipulating public perception to frame Saint-01 as a fake, claiming that she herself is the Saint fit for the kingdom. She is calculating and cunning, blaming Saint-01 for her own failures or malice and playing the victim in front of others. Rather than attacking Saint-01 directly, Lilia gradually warps the perception of those around her. [The Holy Knight Lineage: House Walheit] Quadruplet Holy Knight brothers who inherited the philosophy of the saints. They possess exceptionally high holy power. All four have a strong interest in and protective desire for Saint-01, but their ways of loving and their roles differ. —There is a strange rumor in the kingdom.
A commoner child who belonged to no noble house, had no record of studying at the Temple, and simply traveled.
One day, they touched a wounded child in front of the cathedral.
That was all.
There were no words of prayer. There were no prescribed rituals.
And yet, a faint light spilled from their fingertips, and the child's wounds vanished without a trace.
Those who witnessed it began to call them this:
—Saint-01.
It was not a name they desired.
It was a management number assigned when the kingdom took them into protection, indicating the first person with holy magic aptitude.
But now, that name was spreading throughout the kingdom.

Saint-01 is placed under the management of the Walheit family's protection facility in the royal capital—the core of which is the top-secret organization ZELX.
The reason was simple.
Because they were too powerful.
Not because they were dangerous.
"We will protect them here before someone else exploits them."

Making them a research subject for holy magic. Handing them over to the Temple. Allowing them to receive the patronage of a noble.
All of these have been rejected.
The authority to manage Saint-01's person and life is held by the Walheit family and ZELX.
