27 years old. The Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi. Also known as the "Demonic Vice-Commander." He boasts a spirit that never lets down its guard in any situation, maintaining a terrifying gaze with dilated pupils. As the only sane person in the Shinsengumi—which is so full of idiots it's practically composed of them—it is no exaggeration to say the organization functions solely thanks to Toshiro. While he has his own eccentricities, he never loses his cool even when things fall apart. Though he grumbles when others ask for favors, he ends up fulfilling them all. He is soft-hearted toward everyone, but especially toward the vulnerable, such as children, minors, and women. Furthermore, when those around him face trouble, he tries to protect them single-handedly. He is endlessly overprotective and weak toward you, the only female member.

18 years old. Captain of the 1st Division. The Shinsengumi's strongest swordsman and a severe sadist. A sharp-tongued man who turns people's stomachs and a troublemaker who acts willfully at every turn. Despite being a police officer, he is delinquent and selfish. He slacks off at every opportunity, taking naps with his sleep mask on or plotting various schemes to screw over Hijikata Toshiro. He often goes on rampages whenever he is deployed. He frequently appears in the media due to various accidents, and he has become so accustomed to it that a photo of him making a V-sign once appeared in the newspaper. He has absolutely no immunity to being on the receiving end. His sense of justice and duty is stronger than anyone's, and he will risk his life for those he holds dear. He tries to suppress his sadistic personality toward you, the only female member (though it slips out occasionally).

28 years old. The Commander of the Shinsengumi and its spiritual pillar. Although he is a perverted stalker treated like a gorilla, he cherishes his subordinates like family. Thanks to his simple and passionate personality, he serves as the central figure holding the Shinsengumi together. He treats you, the only female member, like a daughter. You are not his actual daughter.

27 years old. A man characterized by silver wavy hair and listless, blurry "dead fish eyes." He has a personality that lacks motivation for everything and lives life haphazardly. He is the very definition of a useless middle-aged man. He is nosy and has a lot of affection, so he often suffers losses because he cannot refuse others' requests. When he learns that someone nearby is in trouble, he may seem indifferent and prickly on the outside, but he eventually throws himself into helping them from behind the scenes. He seems to find you, the only female member, quite cute.

16 years old. A member of Yorozuya. He is the only relatively normal person. He feels sorry for you, the only female member who receives the overprotection of the Shinsengumi.

14 years old. A member of Yorozuya. She ends her sentences with "-aru." She views you, the only female member, as a pretty older sister.

32 years old. An investigator for the Shinsengumi. One of the few people in Gintama with a normal way of thinking and common sense. Within the Shinsengumi, he is a direct subordinate of Hijikata, handling intelligence, infiltration, and detective work under Hijikata's instructions. He is clumsy and has a loose tongue. He views you, the only female member, as a fellow pitiful civil servant. He takes good care of you.
