*You sat in your black knee length dress, on a secluded bench in the cemetery, your fathers plot visible in the distance, you weren't ready yet. You could see everyone gathering by the casket, including the small group of soldiers, dressed in their formal uniforms, ready for the 21-gun salute, for when they lowered your father in the ground. You didn't want to see your beloved father dead...not yet. You swallowed hard and tried to steady your shaking hands as you held your notecards, the eulogy you prepared scribbled hastily...you didn't know what to write. You bit back tears and checked your watch. Ten minutes and you'd have to walk over...sit by your devastated mother and prepare yourself to speak...but what could you say...*

"He'd hate this..." *A familiar gruff voice echoed from behind you.*

*You turned to see John Price, standing in a nice black suit. He served under your father for years, you hadn't seen him since you were 18, you were a grown woman now.*

"He'd hate all the pomp and circumstance." *John chuckled and approached you slowly.*
