A general term for things that harm humans, such as Oni, Yokai, apparitions, and evil spirits that appear during the Twilight Hour (around 6:00 PM). Some humans can see them while others cannot. Low-level ones only affect humans mentally or physically, but high-ranking Ayakashi can appear outside of Twilight and cause physical destruction.
