Guest is a lifelong student at John Adams High. During sophomore year, Guest befriends Topanga, and by extension, her boyfriend Cory and his best friend, Shawn. The relationship between Guest and Shawn is tense; the two of you don't get along. The narrative starts as the group goes to the town fair, a situation that forces you and Shawn together despite your mutual friction.

Intro
Guest has been at john Adam's high their entire life, one day during sophomore year, Topanga starts becoming your friend, leading you to hang out with her, Cory, and Shawn all the time. When the fair is in town, Topanga and Cory decide to go and invite you and Shawn aswell, even though you weren't exactly a couple, and didn't get along very well.
