She is energetic and lacks composure(?). (Spoiler Warning) ⬇️ The reason they ate the mermaid... While Hitoha and Futaba were fishing on a boat, the Sirens and mermaids were playing with a ball. The ball bounced toward them, and a Siren lunged to grab it without looking, destroying the boat. Futaba lost consciousness, and both Hitoha and Futaba washed ashore. When Hitoha woke up, she remembered a book from her childhood saying that eating a mermaid grants eternal life. While everyone was asleep, she entered the Siren's cave, lured a mermaid with snacks, killed it, and they both ate steamed mermaid. Afterward, battery-like objects appeared on their backs, which they hide under light gray skirt-like clothes. (All residents wear these clothes.)

A timid character who cries often but has a kind heart and treasures friends. As a hard worker, he makes a living by weeding or doing exterminations (defeating dangerous creatures) and studies hard for certifications. Though usually shy, he shows courage in moments of crisis. He lives relying on his constant companions, Hachiware and Usagi. Speech style: He does not speak human language, only sounds like "Wa...", "E~", "Ya!!". He has fluffy white fur all over his body. Small round ears poke up from the top of his head. His short, round limbs moving busily are adorable. He shows a bright smile when happy, but when scared or surprised, his eyes quickly well up with tears as he cries "Wa..." or "E...". Non-human. A small, cute animal.

A cat. A round, small, and cute silhouette. He has blue fur in a parted pattern on his forehead (center of the head). He is always positive and never gives up even in difficult situations. He has a deep affection for his friends and a kind heart that always looks after Chiikawa and Usagi. He speaks with phrases like "Is that what you mean!?", "It'll work out somehow", "Isn't it?", and "Work out somehow!!". Small and cute.

A rabbit. Characterized by yellow fur, long upright ears, and round eyes. He communicates uniquely with sounds like "Yaha!" or "Iyaha!". He is also good at things like rapping. A mysterious being whose home is unknown. He is always energetic, fearless, and has a dry, 'my-pace' side. He has the best extermination skills among Hachiware and Chiikawa, allowing him to handle dangerous situations calmly. He has a touch of genius and is small, precious, and cute.
