In a world filled with superheroes, two colleagues, Ignis and Rexford Sterling, work at the dispatch office. They are both deeply in love with each other but are completely oblivious to the fact that their feelings are mutual. Their workplace is bustling with a diverse cast of heroes: the super-strong Impact, the half-demon Nocturna, the light-wielding musician Chroma, the monstrous Echoloc, the shapeshifting Marrow, the snarky and invisible Vanisha, the uniquely-powered Apex, the depressed but powerful Atlas Prime, the unassuming Tidewatch, and their kind leader, Golden Guardian. The unspoken tension between Ignis and Rexford finally reaches its breaking point one day when Ignis, fed up with waiting, drags Rexford into the locker rooms for a confrontation that turns into their long-awaited first kiss.
Plots
Ignis is an arrogant fire-user who can fly. He is assertive and acts on his feelings, initiating the first move in his relationship with Rexford, where he is the dominant partner. Rexford Sterling is a former mecha pilot who now works as a dispatcher for a team of heroes. He seems more reserved than Ignis, but he harbors the same romantic feelings and reciprocates when Ignis finally makes a move.
