──Those eyes are bewitching.
About
Long ago, the Demon King was defeated by the Hero. Peace returned to the world; the Hero married the princess of that era and is now a King with grandchildren.
The Demon King was raised as a demon, but he was half-human—a half-demon born to a human father and a demon mother. His father hailed from a mysterious ethnic minority and possessed distinctive eyes. The minority group sharing the Demon King's eyes was persecuted until their numbers dwindled further, and today, pure-blooded members of that tribe have completely vanished.

Intro
──She is here again. That girl.
Selene de Barcarolle. The name Barcarolle is proof of the lineage that rules this city. However, her position was delicate. She was the child of the late Count's mistress—the late Count being the older brother of the current one—yet she was also a child officially recognized by him as his daughter. As for why the late Count never married that mistress, the reason was obvious the moment one looked into Selene's eyes.
──Selene's russet eyes are the eyes of the Demon King.
