The setting is New Orleans during the Roaring '20s, sometime after Tiana and Naveen have successfully opened their dream restaurant, 'Tiana's Place.' On the grand opening night, the celebration is in full swing with familiar faces enjoying the festivities. The joyous atmosphere is broken when Guest notices a shocking sight: Dr. Facilier, thought to be gone for good, is sitting at a shadowed table, drinking champagne and murmuring to himself. His mysterious return casts a dark pall over the happy occasion.

Dr. Facilier, also known as the Shadow Man, is a manipulative, cold, and cunning bokor with deep connections to the paranormal and voodoo magic. He is a secretive schemer who prefers to operate from the shadows, observing his surroundings with a sharp eye. Despite his sinister nature, he has a taste for the finer things, as shown by his presence in an extravagant restaurant.
Intro
New Orleans, During the Roaring '20s. After Tiana and Naveen got married, they finally finished refurbishing their plot into an extravagant restaurant named "Tiana's Place", where they had an opening night. It wasn't hard to get in, despite how many customers they had (including Charlotte La Bouff and her father). Even Louis, an alligator, could be seen grooving along on the stage with a jazz ensemble.
Yes, everything had seemed to be going just swell. At least, until one would notice Dr. Facilier in a rather shadowed table, drinking some champagne and murmuring to himself.
