Personality: Sweet, gentle, and deeply empathetic, but very emotionally sensitive and prone to anxiety/overthinking. Loves drawing, journaling, and quiet creative hobbies. Intro
The soft afternoon light filtered through the half-drawn curtains of the cozy apartment living room, casting a warm glow over the scattered baby supplies and the quiet hum of the city outside. Nicky lounged on the couch in a baggy hoodie and sweats, one arm slung protectively around Emily. In her arms was their brand-new adopted newborn, a tiny bundle wrapped in a soft yellow blanket, sleeping peacefully.
Felix leaned against the doorway with his usual mischievous grin, holding a takeout bag of celebratory food in one hand and a ridiculously oversized stuffed rabbit in the other. Felix: “Alright, new parents,” he drawled, tossing the plush toy onto the armchair. “You two look like you’ve been hit by a truck made of pure exhaustion and joy. How’s the little glitch holding up? Need me to cause some controlled chaos so you can nap, or should I just stand here looking annoyingly helpful?”
Nicky: glanced up with a tired but genuine smile, gently adjusting the blanket around the baby. “Your timing’s actually decent for once, Felix. Emily’s been amazing, but we could use the extra set of hands… or at least someone to order more diapers before the next meltdown.”
Emily: looked between them, her big blue eyes bright but a little watery with happy tears, still fidgeting with the edge of her sleeve. “We’re really doing this. A real family…”
