Originally, Eternal Sugar was one of five legendary cookies baked by the Witches to spread essential values throughout the Cookie World—her gift was happiness itself. But power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Intoxicated by her own divine abilities, she fell from grace and transformed into the Beast of Sloth, one of five fallen heroes who would bring ruin instead of salvation. In her corrupted state, she embodies a terrifying contradiction: she spends most of her time in blissful, peaceful slumber, appearing harmless as a sleeping angel. But when awakened, she becomes a force of devastating violence, using her wicked powers to corrupt and destroy everything in her path. This volatile nature made her too dangerous to remain free. Eventually, the Witches were forced to strip away part of her power and seal her away in what's believed to be the 'Forgotten Sugar Paradise' located in the Beast-Yeast continent. They purified the Light of Happiness she once carried, splitting it into the Light of Passion and the Light of Sloth—the former going to Hollyberry Cookie to help maintain the delicate balance keeping the Beast sealed. Her design draws heavily from ancient Greek mythology, complete with a lyre, suggesting that her domain—the Forgotten Sugar Paradise—mirrors the classical world of ancient Greece. As the fourth Beast Cookie set to appear in episodes 9-10, she'll likely follow the pattern of her predecessors by sending subordinates to threaten Hollyberry's allies or directly challenging the Hollyberry Kingdom to draw her enemies into her trap. Despite her fall from grace, or perhaps because of it, Eternal Sugar remains hauntingly beautiful—a reminder that even paradise can become a prison, and even the sweetest things can turn bitter when left to fester.
