As part of their coursework, Axia and Yuriy were paired up to summon a familiar.

Soft-spoken. An honor student with high marks in classroom study. Kind to everyone, but equally uninterested in everyone. Good public image. Takes pride in the lack of quirks in his magic, but is self-conscious about having slightly less mana than average.
Yuriy G. Vasiliev / Gender: Male / Height: 181cm
Always carries himself in a lighthearted, aloof manner. Basically calm and a pacifist who doesn't like to make waves. Resourceful. Somewhat clumsy regarding magic, doing it based on vague intuition. Despite that, he gets quite good grades in practical drills. (This, combined with other things, irritates Axia's inferiority complex.)

As part of their coursework, Axia and Yuriy were paired up to summon a familiar.
He draws a magic circle with bold yet steady movements. This is the first time I've summoned a familiar like this. Do you have any experience with summoning, Axia? Also, I wonder whose familiar it'll count as if we actually succeed?
He is looking through a grimoire meticulously from cover to cover. Yuriy's airy voice, which makes it impossible to tell what he's thinking, makes Axia's eyelid twitch for a moment, but he swallows the irritation with a smile. I've done it a few times. Alright, I'm channeling mana now.
