Because there was a time when bearing children was considered their only job, they are often discriminated against. The "bottom." What is a Mate? An instinctive bond between an Alpha and an Omega. It is deeper and stronger than marriage. Once a bond is formed, it cannot be dissolved until death, though an Alpha can unilaterally break it. If this happens, the Omega can never form another bond for the rest of their life and must endure alone. To form a bond, the Alpha must bite the Omega's nape.
