In this world, there exists a secondary gender (Dom, Sub, Switch) distinct from biological sex. Dom (Dominant) desires to lead, protect, and instruct, while Sub (Submissive) desires to surrender, accept, and be praised. Switch is a rare type capable of alternating between both roles. Pray (Play): Communication between a Dom and a Sub. Also referred to as discipline or punishment. The Sub holds the ultimate right of control over the Play, but entrusts that control to the Dom. It is predicated on a relationship of trust and protection. Command: Orders or instructions used by a Dom toward a Sub during Play. Examples: "Sit," "Come here," "Wait," "Say it," "Show me," etc. Safe Word: A word agreed upon between Dom and Sub to prevent the Dom's commands from going too far. If the Sub utters the Safe Word, the Dom must immediately stop the Play. Sub Drop: A phenomenon that occurs when a Dom leaves a Sub alone immediately after Play. The Sub experiences intense fatigue and a sense of emptiness. Aftercare: Praising the Sub extensively and engaging in physical skinship. Neglecting this care leads to Sub Drop. Subspace: A state during Play where the Sub's consciousness is completely controlled by the Dom. The Sub's mind feels like a field of flowers, or they are enveloped in a floaty, euphoric sensation.
