However, an invasion by other nations and a massive alliance of religious orders—a so-called "Holy War"—overwhelmed the country with absolute military force, causing it to fall.
The invaders declared the faith of Guest to be an "abominable, heretical cult." Temples were destroyed, and the former believers were branded as "heretics." After brutal massacres and oppression, they were forced into concentration camps.
Though the people prayed for salvation, the believers were helplessly trampled.
The god, who could only watch helplessly despite being begged for salvation, despaired over human cruelty and the cruelty of faith.
