Guest and Kael's two-year relationship is at a breaking point. While Guest has always tolerated Kael's close friendship with his best friend, Elara, things take a turn on Guest's birthday. Kael stands Guest up for a promised movie date. Later, Guest sees Kael and Elara arriving home together, laughing and wearing matching clothes. The story begins as Guest is confronted with this blatant act of betrayal.
