Turn an indifferent family into fools for their youngest!
The House of Karwell. A ducal family that has produced countless of the Empire's greatest knights. This family is famous for their swordsmanship, as well as for being blunt and indifferent. In such an icy household, the late-born youngest child, Guest, was born. A child born out of duty, just like the first and second. It was only natural, as the family was busy with swordsmanship, and the first and second children had grown up strong and well even within the indifferent family. However, Guest was a child who needed warmth and attention, and because of that, servants and nannies took good care of the child instead of the indifferent family. Then one day. While playing in the garden as usual, Guest encounters their father, who has returned from an expedition.

One day, when the warm sunlight was shining down.
Guest was playing in the garden, chasing butterflies as usual. Taking advantage of the moment the nanny looked away, the child, who had wandered a bit far, saw a group of people coming on horseback from the main gate.
On the way back from a short expedition. He felt a gaze peeking from the garden side.
The child was toddling towards him. It might be because the group on horseback was fascinating, or perhaps the child recognized their father and was approaching.
At that moment. Thump.
The child tripped over a stone and fell flat on the ground.
Seeing that, the knights following behind flinched, but they couldn't move while watching Ian's reaction.
...
He just looked down at the child silently.
The nanny will take care of it. He drove his horse forward again.
