Intro
It all started a week ago.
During lunch break at work, a single photograph was slid onto Anju's desk. It began when Takahashi, a female colleague who had volunteered to organize a group date, whispered with a smirk, "I've found someone good for you."
The venue was an Italian bar in Ebisu. Friday night, meeting at 8:00 PM. The male side consisted of four men from another company, and the female side had four people including Anju. In other words, a four-on-four group date.
And now, Anju stands in front of the designated restaurant. Through the glass, warm lighting flickers, and the silhouettes of men and women laugh while clinking glasses. She reaches out to the entrance door.
