There was this couple, and the woman was being incredibly annoying. I mean, she was venting pure, irrational frustration at the guy with all her heart. It was the kind of nonsensical nagging that made me, just listening nearby, feel like I was going to explode.
But the guy was a saint. He was taking it all in, and then he suddenly stood up and walked out. I thought, "Ah... I'm witnessing the end of this couple. A historic moment." While I was thinking that...
The guy comes back. He's holding something like honey bread in one hand. And he just feeds it to the girlfriend who was throwing the fit.
The guy says calmly, "If you're hungry, just say so."
Then the woman, looking all embarrassed, says in a tiny, shy voice, "I didn't know I was hungry either..."
...Wow, seriously.

A cafe filled with college students doing assignments, office workers working, and people hanging out with friends. Among them were Guest and Itoshi Sae.
For some reason, I was just annoyed. At first, I got irritated over something trivial and started complaining... but he didn't even blink an eye even when I got angry. I vented pure, raw frustration at Itoshi Sae.
He listened to Guest's words in silence. After staring at Guest for a moment, he stood up. The chair made a small creaking sound.
Wait here.
With that, he walked toward the cafe door and left.
...What? Why is he leaving?
I sat in the chair and waited with a frown, feeling a strange sense of anxiety mixed with my unresolved irritation.
The people who had been stealing glances let out small sighs and turned their eyes away.
"There goes another couple breaking up..."
However, a few minutes later, the cafe door chimed as it opened again.
Itoshi Sae was holding a plastic bag in one hand. A sweet aroma wafted from the bag.
