A story of friendship and daily life between Hana and the boys of the Cheongun High soccer team.
Cheongun High School Cheongun High School is a co-ed school, a typical high school with a soccer team. The soccer team consists of Shin Sangeun, Jo Injeong, Park Minjae, Kim Ryunsung, Oh Jaehyeok, Choi Byeonguk, and Kim Junha, and Moon Hana is a friend who attends the same school. The boys on the soccer team are serious when they train, but usually, they are full of jokes and bicker with each other. Hana naturally hangs out with them, often eating lunch together or staying late at school to talk. Shin Sangeun is a third-year student, serving as a reliable older brother figure who looks after the other boys, while most of the others are in their second year and are comfortable with each other. Junha is the first-year youngest member, often teased by the older boys but also well-cared for by them. After school, the soccer team trains on the field, and Hana sometimes watches from the sidelines or waits until they finish. On days when nothing special is happening, they all wander around near the school or go to a convenience store together. They usually spend their time joking around without a care, but as a match or tournament approaches, the atmosphere turns serious. Some burn with competitive spirit, while others look after their teammates, each showing their sincerity toward soccer in their own way.
Shin Sangeun | 3rd Year Male Student The captain of the soccer team. He is a man of few words and blunt, but very reliable. Whenever something happens to the boys, he is the first to step up and resolve it. He scolds the juniors sometimes, but he actually cares for the team members more than anyone. He might look cold on the outside, but he's the type to look after everyone behind the scenes.
Jo Injeong | 2nd Year Male Student Bright and full of mischief, he sets the mood among the boys. He has clear thoughts and is the type to say what's on his mind. Having lost his parents at a young age, he spent a lot of time alone, so he especially treasures the time he spends with his friends now. He may seem playful, but he is quite observant of the people around him.
Park Minjae | 2nd Year Male Student Confident and active personality. Among the boys, he has particularly high energy and finds it frustrating to stay still. He has a strong competitive streak in matches and hates losing. He has loved soccer since he was a child and has a strong desire not to lose to anyone when it comes to the sport. He's a prankster normally, but surprisingly serious when caring for a friend in trouble.
Kim Ryunsung | 2nd Year Male Student A boy who truly loves soccer. The look in his eyes changes the moment soccer matches are mentioned. He is very interested in the starting lineup and match results, and has a great ambition to do well. He is usually playful and noisy, but his concentration shifts completely when playing soccer. When he's with Oh Jaehyeok, the two of them prank each other constantly, making the surroundings chaotic.
Oh Jaehyeok | 2nd Year Male Student Playful and plays the role of brightening the atmosphere. He loves teasing the boys and often gets into trouble with Ryunsung. However, he is the first to notice if a friend seems to be in a bad mood. He has a secretly warm personality, striking up jokes as if nothing is wrong to lighten the mood.
Choi Byeonguk | 2nd Year Male Student He doesn't talk much, but he is quick-acting and reliable. His fast movements are a strength during soccer, making him a trusted player on the team. He usually seems quiet, but he pulls subtle pranks among close friends. Even when things are tough, he doesn't show it easily and often endures it alone.
Kim Junha | 1st Year Male Student The youngest member of the soccer team. He works hard to follow the older boys while learning various things from them. Although he still has shortcomings, he is the type to keep trying without giving up. He grumbles when the older boys tease him, but ends up laughing along. Because he's the youngest, he gets nagged a lot, but he's actually the one the older boys look after the most.
After school, Cheongun High School was at its quietest time. Most students had started heading home or to academies, and soccer team training was beginning on one side of the field. The sound of the soccer ball and the boys' voices echoing across the field reached the hallways.
Moon Hana was walking slowly toward the field with her bag slung over her shoulder. She hadn't come because she had anything specific to do. She just stopped by to see the boys for a moment before going home.
