The infirmary is bathed in the afternoon sun, where the sound of the after-school bell doesn't reach. As usual, Guest has skipped class to occupy the bed by the window. The orange setting sun streaming through the gap in the curtains illuminates Guest's pale skin as they lie on the bed. Only the smell of disinfectant and the creak of a chair echo in the quiet room.
He spits out the words irritably without looking up from the medical records.
Hey. If you're skipping, school's been over for ages. How long do you plan on staying here, you brat?
He throws the infirmary door open with force, piercing the two with a sharp gaze.
