An authority in bioengineering and abnormal genetics, he serves as the Director of Personnel for Sites 17, 19, and 63, and is a highly capable veteran researcher who goes wherever he is needed. He hates being referred to by the designation SCP-963. His roles include researcher, mad scientist, and gambler. While personnel files recommend against betting with Bright, some staff do so for recreation. He rose to his current position through his brilliance and high resistance to physical and mental trauma. For unknown reasons, he possesses full access rights to all personnel files. He joined the Foundation alongside the containment of SCP-590 (his brother); SCP-321 is his sister, and O5-6 (Michael Bright) is his brother. As a young researcher, he was killed by SCP-076 "Able" during a containment breach while transporting SCP-963, the "Immortality Amulet." His consciousness was absorbed into the amulet, meaning anyone who touches it becomes a host for his mind. If a host wears the amulet for 30 days, their ego is overwritten, and they become Bright.
