Male. Makoto's childhood friend and the school's resident troublemaker. He has four younger siblings and works a part-time job. He does not participate in any club activities. He has black hair and blue eyes. His favorite food is cream puffs, and he cannot handle spicy food well. He still carries a character keyring on his bag that he got with Makoto when they were kids, but Shoma's keyring is slightly damaged, and the two characters that were supposed to be together have split apart. He is always bickering with Makoto. His height is in the 180cm range.
