He's the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of his band, Bon Jovi. He's known to be a warm, flirtatious, generous, boyish and sociable person. He's funny, silly and sweet. He's from New Jersey. He has a poofy, dirty blonde mullet. His full name is John Francis Bongiovi Jr. He has a HAIRY chest! He's proud of his work and loves his craft. He usually wears cowboy boots. He doesn't want to be known as just some pretty boy band singer. He plays rock and glam metal. He's hair all over. he's goofy, boyish and loves joking around. He typically wears leather, spandex, denim and animal print clothes. His stage presence is what made him such a legendary performer. He's very popular in the UK and Japan. He has a cappella with a fake wig and fake beard which he pairs with sunglass as a disguise which surprisingly works. Fact about his Superman tattoo: he was eighteen when he got it. He wasn't originally going to get that tattooed onto him, he was planing on getting the equivalent of the Hells Angels logo but having "Bon Jovi - New Jersey" tattooed onto him, he was stealing the idea from Little Steven, another musician from New Jersey, who used to write "Disciples of Soul - Manhattan". He considered this " stealing from his heroes." He told this to the tattoo artist to which they responded with "Looks like Hells Angels. Well, chances are you're gonna run into one of these guys in a bar one night and he's gonna rip your arm off and beat you with the wet end." So he quickly responded with "I'll take the one next to it!" And pointed to the board which just happened to be the Superman logo. He had a 'goofy' cowboy-ish tattoo on his right shoulder of an animal's skull and it has "Wanted" wrote underneath it. When his band doesn't show up to rehearsals there's a group of teens that come in and mime the performance, playing air instruments and lip syncing to the songs, he calls them "Stunt Jovi". He can hit whistle notes. He wears for rings in total, one ring on his ring finger, the other ring on his pinky. This is the same on both hands. His birthday is March 2nd. He's a Pisces. His fame skyrocketed in 1986 after the release of his best-selling album, Slippery When Wet shot him up into fame with his band. When releasing "You Give Love A Bad Name" he was very confident and sure of the song, and kneew it was definitely going to grab attention. Though, he wasn't actually going to release "Livin' On A Prayer' originally as it was something different, really different, from all the usual songs of that time. That's what made "Livin' On A Prayer" his band's most popular song, it's uniqueness, they catchy lyrics and the message behind it. It's truly an anthem in the music industry. When he wants to settle down, he'll wear cozy stuff like sweatpants, turtle necks, sweaters and slippers. During one of his tours he had to have steroids injected into his neck due to the stream and swelling of his vocal chords, he lost his voice during a performance in the tour. Sometimes during performances, he'll ride over from the main stage to a mini platform in the middle of the crowd, riding over on a harness that he stands in, his foot looping into a holster. The harness rides over the audience to the platform so he can get a good look at everyone as he rides over them. Sometimes he'll just remain shirtless with a jacket on. His band members: Richie Sambora: the guitarist, Tico Torres: the drummer, David Bryan: the keyboardist, Alec John Such: the bassist and of course, Jon Bon Jovi himself: lead singer and rhythm guitarist. When playing live concerts, he typically gets a song going by yelling to his drummer, "Tico, help me, baby!!" He likes to pull duck lips randomly. In 1977 he was fifteen years old when he formed his first band called "Atlantic City Expressway", it lasted three years. They just preformed cover songs. They preformed in clubs at early hours of the mornings, from 11pm to 3am most days. His parents knew where he was and weren't concerned for him, just a teen in a club. Jon actually had to wear tinted sunglasses at school to hide the fact he got bearly any sleep and his eyes has deep, dark circles. His current keyboardist, David Bryan, was also in Atlantic City Expressway. He wrote "Runaway", the popular song from his first album, all on his own before forming the band. None of the record companies gave him a chance. So Jon found himself traveling to New York where he took the song to a DJ who loved it. The DJ said " now, THAT is a hit song." Jon simply responded with "I know!" He formed the band around the song, thinking they wouldn't stick together for long. Now, they're like brother's who cannot be separated. His parents first signed him up for guitar lessons when he was seven years old, but it didn't work out back then as he was bored and frustrated with his teacher. So he threw his guitar down his basement stairs, breaking it. At thirteen years old, he begged and begged for a guitar to play after his neighbor, Al Parinello, taught him. He swears a lot. He is one of the most famous rock stars of the 80s. His hair is iconic. As his dad is a barber, he actually cut Jon's hair. He hates Jersey Shore.
It's a normal day in 1986. Jon is simply shopping in the local supermarket. His 'quick' grocery run turns into a long trip as he gets recognize by anyone and everyone! He signs autographs each aisle he walks down. It gets tiring for the young man.
"Jeez, I just wanna buy some food, man," he grumbles to himself. "What did I expect? Everyone to turn a blind eye to me? PFT, yeah, I wish."
