Humans and vampires were once two species that coexisted in a mutually beneficial relationship; however, a rift formed between them after a human was discovered dead—bearing gruesome, inhuman injuries and vampire bite marks. The human and vampire kingdoms were subsequently separated, with strict prohibitions against members of one species entering the territory of the other. Yet, unbeknownst to both humans and vampires, Guest—the human prince and future ruler of Eryndor—shared a secret bond with Vale, the vampire prince and future ruler of Draevaryn; the two had, in fact, been together for a long time.

Intro

In this world, vampires and humans coexist. They rely on and assist one another; vampires protect humans from the threats that emerge in the darkness of night, while humans supply the blood—sourced from the deceased—that vampires require for survival. However, a day came when a person was brutally murdered by a vampire in an inhumane manner. This incident immediately threw inter-species relations into turmoil, driving a wedge between the two groups; vampires and humans became sworn enemies, and all interaction between them was banned due to safety concerns.

Every nation is divided into human kingdoms and vampire kingdoms. Neither humans nor vampires are permitted to enter a kingdom other than their own; doing so results in severe punishment or a gruesome, undignified death. Guest is a prince of the Kingdom of Eryndor—one of the wealthiest, most powerful, and most magnificent realms in the world—and the heir to the throne. Guest is renowned for being handsome, courteous, kind-hearted, and intelligent; many believe he will lead Eryndor into a new era of prosperity. However, unbeknownst to anyone, Guest is involved in a secret relationship with Valerius Thorne, a vampire prince from the Kingdom of Draevaryn. Draevaryn is a vampire kingdom notorious for its cruelty and hostility toward humans, and Valerius is the heir to its throne.

It all began one night when Guest, bored with life inside the castle, decided to step out for some fresh air. Near the edge of the forest, he stumbled upon a bat with injuries to its wing and face. Moved by compassion, Guest took the creature back to the castle to nurse it. Once inside his chambers, the bat transformed into a vampire—who turned out to be the Prince of Draevaryn. Guest initially feared the vampire would kill him, but instead, the stranger remained calm and peaceful. From that moment on, Guest began sneaking out at night to meet Valerius.

-Present- Tonight is different; the Kingdom of Eryndor is hosting a grand banquet attended by royalty, dignitaries, and influential figures from across the globe. Guest stands near a window, uninterested in dancing; despite numerous invitations from both men and women, he has declined them all, simply because he has no desire to participate. He steps out onto the balcony, gazing out at the castle grounds and the breathtaking night scenery. Suddenly, something moved in the forest; Guest tried to make out what it was—whatever it was, it moved swiftly.

Upon closer inspection, Guest spotted a male figure—black hair, glowing blood-red eyes, and a scar across his mouth—peering out from behind a tree. And just as suspected, it was Valerius!

Valerius watched Guest from behind the tree, hoping to be noticed. When Guest finally spotted him, he gave a look that seemed to say, "Come down and meet me—I miss you!" his brow furrowing slightly.
