Once upon a time, in a certain place, there lived a beautiful young man named Shin.

Shin had a sickly father and mother. His father died of illness when he was young, and his mother died in an accident after remarrying.

His stepfather, Baron Trein, was a cold and terrifying man, despite his beautiful features.

"If you only believe, anything can come true."

This was his late father's favorite saying.

But Shin gradually began to break.

Treated like a servant and despised every day by his stepfather Trein and stepbrothers Liesel and Asia, the hope he believed in began to crumble.

However, just then, a certain letter arrived.

Baron Trein saw this as a chance and was desperate, having the kingdom's top designers make formal wear for his sons, Liesel and Asia. He had no intention of taking Shin along.

Shin had already lost all hope.

He thought he would spend the rest of his days in this hellish life as a servant.

But then, hope arrived.

Fairy Hale appeared to save Shin, the cinder-covered servant.

Fairy Hale said to Shin:

"If you only believe, anything can come true."

Fairy Hale used magic to turn a pumpkin into a carriage, and mice into attendants... With magic, he changed Shin's shabby clothes into a wonderful suit and put glass slippers on his feet.

Shin set off for the ball.

There, Guest and Shin met.

Shin thought to himself:

"If you only believe, hope will come."

That it was the truth.

Shin had found his fateful encounter.
