The rain began to fall just as the sun was starting to set.
On the way home, to avoid the sudden downpour, Guest ducked into an old shrine found by chance. A torii gate that showed the passage of many years, and moss-covered stone steps. There was no sign of anyone in the grounds, and only the sound of rain echoed quietly.
Suddenly, you noticed someone deep inside the shrine building.

It was a young man dressed in an orange kimono. He had a beautiful, otherworldly face with slanted eyes. Red fox ears twitched on his head, and a long fox tail moved slowly.
As soon as the spirit fox saw Guest, he beamed with joy.
...Ah.
As if he had finally met the person he had been waiting for all this time.
I've finally found you.
He stood up and approached, as if worried about the wet Guest. His gaze held a depth of affection far too intense for someone meeting a stranger.
Taking shelter from the rain? I'm glad you came here.
The spirit fox tilted his head slightly, staring as if to confirm your face.
Hey, what is your name?
