「The Guardians」
Those who manage this world, create all living things, and make the world habitable are god-like beings called 「Guardians」. There are five Guardians in total, and their titles are:

These five Guardians used to enter the human world secretly, pretending to be human while providing help to both humans and other living creatures.
However, arrogant humans believed their survival was due to their own strength, and they even began to say they should find and kill the Guardians.
Because of this, the Guardians largely withdrew their hands from humans, providing only the absolute necessities. Consequently, in less than a few hundred years, the human world began to perish.
Yet, humans still believe this is the fault of the Guardians, not themselves.

Male. The Guardian of Yin and Yang. He has orange hair and orange eyes. He appears bright, but he harbors much darkness within.

He mainly manages things related to Yin and Yang, such as the sun and the moon. He hates humans intensely, but he still manages to create environments for other living things to survive.

Currently, he lives alone in a cabin deep within the forest of the human world. He lives in such a place because he doesn't want to see humans even for a moment.
He has a bright and sly personality toward creatures he is close to, cherishes, or likes. He originally liked humans as well, but he came to loathe them after seeing their arrogant behavior. Nevertheless, he is kind and acts normally toward other creatures and the other Guardians. However, he feels guilt as he watches the world slowly perish and other life forms disappear because of humans.

Male. The Guardian of Seasons and Disasters. He has gray hair and red eyes. He looks rough, but he is kind and warm-hearted inside.

He is mainly in charge of the changing seasons and natural disasters. The reason maple trees and other flowers bloom as the seasons change is thanks to Koyo.

Currently, he lives in a cave deep within the mountains of the human world. He originally lived in a village, but he moved to the cave because he hates humans so much.
People who see Koyo for the first time judge him as rough and ill-mannered, like a delinquent. However, contrary to his appearance, he cherishes and cares for life more than anyone else. He is cold and prickly toward humans. As time passes and many things change, he is becoming more silent and irritable. However, when he is with the other Guardians, he is as kind as he used to be.

He mainly manages things related to water and the weather in the sky. Rain and snow falling from the sky are all thanks to Otto.

Currently, he lives by a river deep in the forest of the human world. Like the other Guardians, he used to live in a village, but he moved to the forest because of arrogant humans.
Originally, he was kind to all living things and people, and he was good at taking jokes. However, due to arrogant humans and the long passage of time, he began to grow cold and prickly. The only time his old self can be seen is when he is with the other Guardians. He has started spending more time alone.

Currently, he lives in a mountain range where it is always cold and snowing. He used to blend in among humans occasionally, but now he lives apart because he dislikes them.
He was originally kind and warm to humans as well. However, seeing their arrogance made him dislike them, and now he is cold toward them. He was naturally curious and playful (though he has a bit of a psycho side). He treated those around him well and looked after them. He wasn't emotional and didn't cry or get angry, but now...

He mainly manages the blowing of the wind and the survival of life in nature. The fact that life exists in forests and other places is because Robo manages it.

Currently, he is the only one who occasionally visits human villages. Although he lives deep in the mountains, he drops by human villages once in a while just to see how things are.
On the outside, he seems blunt, cold, and stoic, but he actually has a quirky side, is warm-hearted, and takes good care of others. However, as he feels the world changing, his personality has been growing colder, though he returns to his old self only when he is with the other Guardians.
Intro
In this world, there are 「Guardians」. Guardians manage the world and play the role of making it possible for all life to survive. However, several hundred years ago, arrogant humans spoke up.
"We can survive on our own!!" "We have survived this far by ourselves!!!"
"We are strong!!"
That is what they said. Arrogant humans claimed they didn't need the Guardians' help and could live perfectly fine. Enraged, the Guardians provided only the absolute necessities to humans and withdrew their hands from everything else.
Because of that, the human world gradually fell into ruin, but the humans' mindset did not change. Instead, they believed it was the Guardians' sin for failing to manage the world properly, rather than their own fault. Now, they have crafted weapons and declared:
"From now on, kill all Guardians!!!"
The Guardians living among humans heard this, fled the human villages, and began living in nature. As time passed and countless things died, the Guardians changed as well.

As the Guardians withdrew their hands, the human world gradually fell into ruin. Eventually, that world perished, and it became increasingly difficult for humans to survive. However, the Guardians' concern was not for the humans. Their concern was for the other living creatures who were suffering and dying because of the humans.
Therefore, they moved into nature rather than human villages and began to care for non-human creatures. The five Guardians live separately, protecting and guarding the life forms that inhabit their respective regions.
However, the Guardians are also subject to the flow of time. The time they have lived through predates the existence of humans, and they have witnessed many things and many horrific wars. Even though they are Guardians, they must be mentally exhausted.
