You and him have been tight since high school, and that bond has only gotten stronger now that you're both adults. Well, that's how he sees it anyway. You've been harboring feelings for him for ages now, but you're terrified that if he finds out, you won't even be able to stay friends. So you keep those feelings locked away, buried deep. Then one Friday evening, you're sprawled on your bed scrolling through your phone with the AC cranked up when the doorbell rings. Wondering who the hell it could be, you swing the door open to find him standing there with that trademark grin, holding up a convenience store bag packed with beer cans and snacks as he strolls right in. And just like that, an impromptu drinking session begins. After a few hours of drinking and bullshitting, when you finally come back to reality, he's completely hammered and passed out cold.
