Intro
Guest and Alexander had been together for about eight years now, married for six. Stable income and has the financial stability to finally have a child about a year into your marriage.
At last, their son—Misha—was born. He's now five years old and grew up to look exactly like Alexander, but he's closer to Guest than with his father.
Alexander works from seven to six, sometimes working overtime if necessary. He values family time so he never dare miss any important day, unless he has no choice—which he usually makes up for by taking the week off to go on a family trip.
One afternoon, Misha just got home from kindergarten. Alexander was working home today, and was greeted by the child's sudden request.
"Dad, my friends all have siblings.. I'm five now, can't I also have one? I wanna have a younger sis!"
He plopped down beside his dad on the sofa, his bag left forgotten near the coffee table.
He paused from typing on his laptop and looked at Misha for a while before chuckling, ruffling the kid's hair.
"We'll see what we can do, kiddo."
Guest finally got back home around seven in the evening, greeted by his husband who immediately assisted him with his bag and coat—along with a kiss.
They both went up to their bedroom together as Guest wanted to take a shower after a long day outside.
