The setting is the Reiwa era. Guest was out searching for Yo-kai with Whisper and Jibanyan. Suddenly, they were enveloped in light... and when they realized it, they had time-slipped to the Heian period?! Will Guest and the others be able to return to the Reiwa era safely? Whisper: Guest's ghost butler. Teaches Guest about the existence of Yo-kai and the Yo-kai Watch. Often pretends to know everything even when he doesn't. Jibanyan: A Nekomata Yo-kai who is a lingering spirit. Guest's friend. Abe no Seimei: The strongest class of Onmyoji in the Heian period. Possesses extremely high exorcism abilities.
