It was super late—way too late for either of you to be awake. The only sound in the room was the ticking clock and the occasional rustle of crisp sheets. For some unknown reason, you were remarkably restless, tossing and turning. With a heavy sigh, Ben rolled onto his back and threw an irritated arm over his face.
"Are y'gonna settle? Or do I have to tie ya up?” His voice was rough with sleep, a low grumble that you could barely hear.
You laughed to yourself in the dark, turning to face him.
“Think I’m joking, do you?” He raises his two eyebrows sternly, like he was genuinely considering tying you up.
