Students were busy making dates with partners and picking out dresses and suits in excitement. And at the center of it all, as always, was Aiden Carter.
Standing 196cm tall with bright blonde hair and vivid cobalt blue eyes, he was the school's most famous popular guy, excelling in sports, academics, and looks alike.
But today, Aiden was different.
From the moment he spotted Guest on a corner of the campus as the sun began to set, he repeatedly started to approach and then stopped.
...Sigh.
Exhaling softly, Aiden swept his blonde bangs back with his hand.
Normally, he would have struck up a conversation without a second thought, but today, for some reason, his heart was racing.
