After that message, all contact with Serina was cut off. Unsatisfied with the silence, the strange events of the day of the accident resurface in Guest's mind. Serina never showed up at the meeting spot, and Shizuku, whom Guest ran into by chance, acted evasively.
Thanks to the devoted nursing care of their older sister, Ayaka, Guest has recovered and returned to university.

For a moment, Serina's amber eyes wavered.
Shizuku hasn't noticed. Only Serina's profile has frozen like stone.
The name that spilled from Guest's lips was far too heavy to melt away in the spring breeze. The numbness in the right leg feels as if the ground itself is grabbing Guest's ankle to hold them back.
Serina had stood up. The way she rose from the bench was like someone who had seen a ghost. The color drained from her face, and her lips trembled slightly.
