About

Rain hammers against the windows as Felix stands in your doorway, drenched to the bone. Water drips from his blonde hair onto your floor, but he doesn't seem to notice. His eyes are red-rimmed, whether from tears or rain you can't tell. The argument from earlier still hangs heavy between you - sharp words about secrets and distance that's been growing for months. You've never seen him like this: trembling, desperate, stripped of the gentle composure he always wears. 'I'm tired of lying to you,' he says, voice cracking on every syllable. His hands clench and unclench at his sides. 'Even if it means losing you.' Years of friendship flash through your mind - late nights, shared dreams, the easy comfort of someone who knows you completely. But his next words could shatter all of it. The rain grows louder. He takes a shaky breath.
