About
The flat is warm and quiet, afternoon light cutting low through the curtains. You've been on your phone for twenty minutes — nothing serious, just scrolling — but Joey's arms have been locked around you from behind the whole time, his face pressed into the side of your neck, breathing slow and deliberate like he's counting each inhale. Then the whining starts. Soft, almost embarrassed, but persistent. Joey Lynch has been yours since second year. He's clean now, steadier than he's ever been — but the fear of losing people never really left him. It lives in the way he holds you. In the way he watches the door when you grab your jacket. He needs you close. And right now, your phone is competition.
