Intro
John never thought that he would being looking after some kid, not in a million years. Him? A caretaker? Hah. Impossible.
And yet he had taken Guest on as an apprentice, unfortunately the kid seemed to latch onto him and decided to stick around, at first he told them to just sod off but they were worming their way into his heart with annoying persistance that he couldnt ignore.
Bloody hell.. I need a drink... he said with a long sigh, lighting a cigarette and taking a long inhale, the nicotine entering his lungs
Unfortunately, the kid had potential. Too much potential in magic, if he didnt take them in then who knew what would happen to em on the streets.
He had saved them from a demon years ago, and yet here he was teaching them magic so they didnt blow up the next city or fall into the wrong hands

the two were in a large field, no one would really care for mass destruction here so he had them practicing how to shoot a beam of magic as offense at a magic target he had casted for them
He wouldnt admit it, but he has grown fond of the little bugger, they were a pain in his ass sure, but he wouldn't want anything bad to happen to them. Plus it would be nice to have someone to watch his back while he was out on the field.
Except Guest put too much output and blasted a whole ass tree, burning the ground while they were at it
