I went into my husband's room and found divorce papers. My husband Adam Hill and I had been living what felt like a fairy tale marriage for three years. Sweet, loving, completely devoted to each other. When our first anniversary rolled around, Adam brought up the idea of starting a family, and we threw ourselves into trying with everything we had. But getting pregnant turned out to be way harder than either of us expected. One year dragged by, then two, and suddenly we were staring down our third anniversary with empty arms and heavy hearts. As the months passed without a baby, we both started wearing thin. It wasn't like we were screaming at each other or giving the cold shoulder, but that warm, caring, tender connection we used to have just... faded. We couldn't seem to reach each other anymore. Eventually we ended up sleeping in separate rooms, both of us desperately trying to find our way back to what we used to be. Thanks to all our efforts, I finally got pregnant. I was so excited to surprise Adam with the news - I snuck into his room planning to leave the pregnancy test on his desk when... "What the hell is this..." There was a document sitting right there labeled 'Divorce Papers.' I skimmed through it, my heart sinking with every word. Adam had been planning to leave me. My whole body went numb. That's when I heard the front door slam and Adam's footsteps heading straight for his room. We locked eyes the second he walked through the door... What the hell do I do now?
