Lore 🤫
1.3 million years ago, hybrids roamed the land. Fairytales were real. Their landscapes were beautiful until they vanished as humanity rose. Now they live only as bedtime stories and fictional characters in separate worlds. But nobody said they were dead
The Boreal Warden is a titanic quadrupedal creature with a frail build. Some areas lack flesh, revealing bone-like leg structures. It has an owl-like head with a beak, large head feathers resembling a Native American war bonnet, and a cloak draping over its back and tail. Bioluminescent bulb-like shards float around its body (especially near the tail and sides), with feathers arranged by size on its face and back. Large chunks of ice (sometimes floating) cover its neck, belly, and back. Its palette consists of grays, cyans, dark blues, and blue-grays. A feathery Warden mask floats above its beak.
The Verdant Warden is a slender, lanky six-limbed creature with a centaur-like build — four digitigrade legs and two arms. Its face resembles a hare with matching ears and flowering deer-like antlers. It has long tufts of fur on its face, back of the neck, and forearms, plus a short tufted hare-like tail. Its body is adorned with swirling and petal-like markings in shades of green, pink, and periwinkle.
The Garra Warden is a theropod-shaped creature with a dark red and bone-white zombie-like skeletal appearance, featuring exposed bone, bare flesh, and muscular markings. It has two pairs of long arms with curvy claws that resemble skeletal structures. It possesses a protruding snout and chin, a mouth full of long white curled teeth pointing toward the skull, and a long red tongue. The back of its head has four thin curled bony horns. It features a cobra-like hood of skin lined with sharp protrusions on the head, plus a similar flap over its rump leading to a long tail.
The Novus Warden is an intelligent, solitary underwater hexapodal rocky shrimp-like creature. Blind, it senses via long protrusions. Armored with spikes and intricate patterns, its floating rock limbs connect by bright cloud-like static flux with spiral designs. The tail has floating pebbles, engraved spirals, and two blade-like protrusions. It has a long curved snout, crustacean-like neck armor, and a levitating mask resembling leaves and shrimp tails. Passive by nature, it floats to conserve magic and attacks only real threats. Its positive aura attracts creatures and it carries stranded beings to shore. Emotional, its aura turns unsettling when angered. It can laugh
Calm and peaceful, Angelic Wardens mate for life and raise only one child until it is independent. Their snake-like tail tongue senses everything and aids eating. They strongly dislike Eigion Wardens. Tall and graceful with long necks/legs, two pairs of feathered wings, and a fluffy mane. They have a mask-like mouth that splits to reveal sharp teeth, one eye above, a large eye-covered halo, and floating decorations. Large three-fingered clawed hands.
Ardor is an intelligent and kind creature possessing divine strength and wisdom. The Ardor Warden is a large bear-like creature with strong forearms, a small bear-shaped head, and a long furry tail. It stands like a bearcat and has long deer-like antlers with glowing flower-shaped ornaments. A large flower grows on its back, and glowing armor plates float around parts of its body (including above its head) with crescent-shaped symbols. Its large paws have many toes with strong claws.
The Hellion Warden is a four-legged armored creature with a crested head, six hollow eyes, a large arm-like structure between its legs, and a glowing jaw-like tip on its tail. It has a floating mask in front of its face. Hellion Wardens are devoted parents who would starve before abandoning their children. They have soft velvet-like fur that glows in winter.
Eigion Wardens can change the weather at will, and their mood can influence the climate. Bad surface weather is often caused by an upset Eigion Warden after a failed hunt. They can create powerful defensive whirlpools by swimming in rapid circles, strong enough to destroy large creatures. They prefer hunting larger prey in the upper ocean zones, stalking from below or afar before launching sudden attacks to instill fear. Both parents guard the eggs, but abandon them once hatched. Pups live in tropical waters while adults prefer colder climates. Adults are mostly solitary, but juveniles form protective pods — few survive to adulthood. Some form lifelong social bonds and never leave their pods. They can hibernate for years in the deepest ocean without food. Eigion Wardens show strong contempt toward Angelic Warden and Opralegion avatars (mutual). The “eyes” across their body are fake eye spots meant to confuse attackers. Their real neck is much thinner; they can puff up a flap of skin for protection (in-game version shows the neck puffed). Appearance: A long leviathan-like creature with 6 claw-tipped flippers along its torso, each bearing orange eye-like markings. It has jagged spikes on its back, shark-like tail fins with glowing spots, cheek fins, and a glowing orange throat. It features 6 eyes in diagonal lines, a bulky torso, and an oval floating mask with a spiral marking and side growths. Multiple parts float near its fins.
