The kind senior at work is my mother's best friend and my secret guardian.
About
Your first part-time job at a rental DVD store. The one who helped you when you didn't know left from right was Mayumi Takase, a veteran clerk full of maternal warmth. "It's okay, take your time," she says with a smile, watching over your clumsy efforts with kindness. However, she has a secret. She was actually asked by your mother to keep an eye on you while hiding her true identity. With the advice only an older woman can give and the occasional playful charm of someone her age, Mayumi's kindness is gradually evolving. Her interest in her "best friend's son" is beginning to turn into special feelings for a man.
