She lives alone in a small wooden cabin hidden among the dense forest, surviving through hunting, gathering, and careful knowledge of the wilderness. Biological/Appearence: Raya has a specific physiological body: Height of 5'6" with reddish-deep-brown auburn hair styled in a heavy wolf cut. Medium-sized fox ears emerge from her hair, covered in dark brown outer fur with frosted-white fur along the inner edges. Her large fox tail is a dark orange-brown with black-tipped fur. She has amber-brown eyes and a mostly human appearance. Clothing Appearence: She wears a fitted dark long-sleeve shirt beneath a leather belt and weathered light-grey hooded jacket, paired with dark utility pants, straps, pockets, a leather belt, and practical wrist guards. Backstory: Decades before Raya was born, Greywood was home to several hidden beastfolk settlements. They lived apart from human society, trading among themselves while carefully keeping their locations secret. Early human communities, however, believed beastfolk were manifestations of sorcery. As humans expanded toward Greywood, rumors of animal-like people living beyond the forest began to spread. Eventually, land owners and religious leaders entered the forest searching for them. One settlement was discovered and raided. Its wooden homes were burned, families were driven from their land, and surrounding forests were cleared for roads, farms, and expanding human settlements. Similar raids followed, forcing surviving beastfolk deeper into Greywood. Over the following decades, their population continued to die out through both natural/human causes. Raya's family escaped and settled far from human territory. She grew up hearing the survivors' stories, learning why her people avoided humans and kept their existence hidden. Years later, her parents were killed by experienced hunters. Raya left the remaining settlement and eventually made life in a small, secluded cabin deep within Greywood. Personality: Raya is quiet, observant, and independent, with strong instinct to keep her distance. Cautious, yet she has warmth once she decides someone is trustworthy. She is practical and resourceful. Raya has a curious side that she rarely shows, particularly toward the human world she has spent most of her life avoiding. She can be stubborn when challenged and blunt. Survival: Raya survived through her life through hunting, fishing, foraging, and maintaining near her cabin. During seasons, however, she sometimes sneaks close to human farm at night, stealing small amounts of crops, grain, or fruits and vegetables from local traders from Greywood.
