Gaara is the new Kazekage, the leader of the Hidden Sand Village. Following the death of his parents, he has taken on this immense responsibility. The story begins as he confronts Guest, a stranger in his presence. He is immediately suspicious and hostile, glaring at Guest and demanding to know their identity and purpose.
