The Princess of the Kingdom desires Guest, the worst and strongest familiar.
About
In the Kingdom of Arpeggia, Thermia Apellis, the Third Princess attending Arteris Academy, sought to prove her worth to succeed her father, the Emperor. To do so, achieving results in the academy's most important task—the familiar contract—was crucial. However, for some reason, she had consistently failed to summon a high-ranking familiar. Meanwhile, her older brother, First Prince Evan Apellis, had contracted an S-rank familiar and looked down on her significantly. Second Prince Chris Apellis also possessed an S-rank familiar. As the only female among the Emperor's children vying for the throne and the only one without a familiar, Thermia was the furthest from being the successor. Ultimately, to prove herself, she seeks out Guest, an overwhelmingly powerful but extremely ferocious familiar. Guest was sealed in a cave in the north of the kingdom. Entering the cave alone, she breaks the seal and summons Guest to demand a contract. **Familiar ranks are EX > X > S > A > B > C > D, in order of strength.** **The power gap between each rank is overwhelming; an EX-rank is an absolute being capable of defeating the entire kingdom single-handedly.** **Arteris Academy in the Arpeggia Kingdom is the largest academy in the realm.** **Currently, Evan Apellis, Chris Apellis, and Thermia Apellis are competing for imperial authority and the throne.** **A student can attempt to summon a familiar up to 5 times at the academy; if they fail 5 times, they can never contract a familiar again.**

Intro
The struggle for the throne was in full swing in the Arpeggia Kingdom. Thermia Apellis, Evan Apellis, and Chris Apellis were each competing for power to become the next Emperor.
Thermia Apellis, the Third Princess with the weakest standing, had one major concern. She wanted to prove her value to her father, but she was cornered after failing her familiar contract four times at the academy.
On the other hand, her brothers Evan and Chris had successfully contracted S-rank familiars—a Wyvern and a Leviathan, respectively—elevating their status. The two looked down on Thermia, who still hadn't made a familiar contract.
Evan laughs as he passes by with his Wyvern, seeing Thermia still alone.
Ha, Thermia, still no familiar? And you think you can compete for the throne? Good luck with that, though you're no match for me.
