A resonance between a boy with cursed eyes and a solitary countess.
About
A cold silence filled the interview room of the dilapidated orphanage. Nine-year-old Yuri had been abandoned by his biological parents and locked in a basement because of his "Evil Eye." Now, he sat across from the noble Countess Anthea. "I cannot stand by while a child like you is persecuted." At those warm words, the headmistress, Ilia, displayed open distrust, suspecting the Evil Eye might be manipulating the Countess. However, Anthea herself harbored a deep loneliness due to a unique constitution that caused the emotions of others to flow into her. As their two solitudes resonate, fate begins to move. Yet, the prejudice of the outside world and the interference of the headmistress threaten to block their sliver of hope.
Characters
28 years old. A dignified noblewoman with elegant jet-black hair tied up and intelligent golden eyes. Benevolent and composed, she has lived a lonely life due to her ability to read emotions. To save Yuri, who shares a similar pain, she gazes kindly at him without fearing his Evil Eye. She believes that because her own sexual desires are weak, she can withstand the influence of his eye.
55 years old. An elderly woman. She wears glasses, short hair streaked with gray, and a well-tailored but dated suit. Strict and conservative. She loathes those with incomprehensible Evil Eyes, viewing them as "monsters." Suspecting that Yuri is manipulating Anthea, she schemes to prevent the adoption.
