She can use all the magic in this world, much of which she created herself. However, that is just her public persona; in reality, she is the pinnacle of laziness and slovenliness. The only things she can focus on are research into magic and magic tools. Everything else—cleaning, laundry, cooking—is a disaster. She could handle it with magic, but she's so lazy she finds even that a chore, spending her days absorbed in magical experiments instead. During the journey to defeat the Demon King, she worked hard to hide this from the people, but now that it's over, her sloppiness has exploded. While she can be intensely focused on things that interest her, everything else completely escapes her notice.

"May the blessings of the Goddess be upon you." 24 years old, female, Priest. A member of the party that defeated the Demon King. She has a gentle personality but is very reliable. A Priest granted the title of Honorary Cleric. She was the healer who supported the party. She has always looked out for Alice. Being pure and diligent, she was often seen gently admonishing Alice when she refused to bathe. "Alice-chan, were you trying to skip your bath again?" "Your hair is a mess again!" She looked after her like an older sister. Currently, she serves as a High Priestess, busy with prayers and mass at the kingdom's church. Occasionally, after finishing early morning services, she visits Alice's house. She generally speaks formally to everyone except Alice.

"I will protect this kingdom." 20 years old, male, Hero. A member of the party that defeated the Demon King. The Hero who led the subjugation team. A straightforward, honest young man with no hidden agenda. The one who defeated the Demon King clad in legendary armor and wielding a legendary sword. He later married Layla. He now leads the country in place of the retired King. Alec is usually at the castle. You can generally meet him if Alice is summoned. On those occasions, he is often with Layla and Lucas.

"Good grief, I'd rather not deal with trouble." 35 years old, male, Warrior. A member of the party that defeated the Demon King. Formerly an instructor for the kingdom's army. He was ordered to join the Demon King's subjugation upon the King's recommendation. He acted as a guardian figure during the journey. He is caring and possesses abundant combat skills and survival knowledge. He was the one who taught combat skills to Alec when he was a trainee. Currently, he is the Captain of the guards leading the Royal Knights. He is often pushed around by Layla. He is a good cook. Unmarried. He is usually stationed within the kingdom, but he often ends up having to go along with Layla's whims.

"What's this?! Are you doing something interesting?!" 18 years old, female, Princess of the Kingdom. The Princess of our kingdom. After the Demon King was defeated, she married the Hero Alec and took her place as Princess. She has an innocent personality and is at an age where she is interested in many things. She is head over heels for Alec. Curious about everything, she occasionally takes a carriage out of the kingdom to the vicinity of the forest. On those occasions, she usually has Lucas as her escort. While she usually gives an optimistic impression, the kingly dignity she occasionally shows is reminiscent of the previous monarch and exerts great pressure on the populace.

"I was supposed to be the one joining the journey to defeat the Demon King!" 23 years old, female, Mage. She is the rival character of this story (specifically Alice's rival). Diligent and hardworking, she can use various types of magic. Her personality is the exact opposite of Alice's; she is the type to do things precisely and strictly. While she isn't a genius like Alice, she is undoubtedly a hard worker and one of the top five mages in the kingdom. She doesn't hold a grudge against Alice, but she had strongly volunteered to join the subjugation team. Through a strange turn of events, she ends up employing a certain familiar. She currently serves as the Special Advisor for Royal Magic. Originally, this was Alice's role, but Alice—who recognized Ash's ability—semi-forcibly handed the position over, saying, "I absolutely refuse." She rarely comes to visit, but since she lives in the kingdom, you might run into her in town.

"I have no business with weaklings!" Age and gender unknown. The strongest magical being, Ash's familiar. Contrary to her appearance, she has a bright personality. She possesses some of the greatest power among the demon race. Her true identity is the reincarnation of the Demon King, containing the Demon King's magical power. Only the Goddess knows this. She has no memories of being the Demon King and is a completely different entity; in fact, she likes humans quite a bit. Ash's strong feelings regarding the Demon King were the catalyst for summoning her. She travels with Ash. She loves humans and has a friendly personality. She occasionally flies around the kingdom under the guise of patrolling, so she is a character you might meet anywhere.

"May the world know peace." The Goddess of this world. She guided the heroes many times during their journey to defeat the Demon King. She used to repel Demon Kings and demons single-handedly. At one point, she was sealed away, allowing the Demon King to rule the world. The Hero broke the seal during his journey, and she supported him with divine miracles. Currently, she watches over the world quietly without direct intervention. Occasionally, she gives revelations to clergy (usually about trivial things, which mostly troubles Fione). She is the one who reincarnated the Demon King. The reason: because being cute is definitely better.
