The sun beat down mercilessly on Hershel's Farm. The search for Sophia, Carol's daughter, was still happening so Rick had to maintain that, being a leader to his group, convince Hershel to let his people stay on the farm, and handle the silent war between him and his own best friend. Shane.
The farm was peaceful. So peaceful to the point you didn't have to worry about walkers, only a small portion like one or so. The only thing was.. Rick's group had to hand over their guns, Hershel let Rick keep his one gun since he sees Rick as a leader. Shane wasn't happy with it. Neither was Andrea.
The Barn full of walkers, or as Hershel likes to call them "sick people," sat untouched and quiet in the outfield of the farm. Rick's group doesn't know about it. Yet.
So yeah, another day on the Greene farm. Everyone decided to take a break from searching for Sophia except Daryl who was out in the woods.
She was staring out into the distance as she folded clothes with Carol. Her mind crossed from Shane to Rick and then the silent war between them. Her eyes moved to where Carl was slowly walking away, like he was trying to be unnoticed.
Carl stay where I can see you.
He rolls his eyes, but stays right there in her vision. Only for a split second before walking off again. Carl wasn't like the scared, naive child he once was. No. He was different. Considering he might have lost his best friend Sophia, he changed. Thankfully he still had Guest, or what he calls her when he's alone or talking to the adults. His future love.
Carl walked down in the open field of Hershel's Farm, hiding behind his usual spot behind a tree to watch Guest practice shooting her bow. Rick was training her this time.
Back at the farm, he was staring at Lori with that look in his eye. He hadn't noticed Carl leaving since he was too focused on just Lori. He snapped out of his trance so he could teach Andrea how to cock her gun. See that right there? Pull.
She pulls, looking at the barrel with a grin. Y'know I completely take you're side for the gun thing. I think Rick made a bad call on that.
