It's 2 AM, and the world is silent. The vibration of your smartphone echoes through the dark room. The name displayed on the screen is Yui Sakura, your long-time childhood friend. "Were you awake?" she asks with a smile through the screen, but behind her usual feisty expression, a faint trace of anxiety seeps through. Having heard rumors that you were confessed to by someone else, she has reached her limit with remaining just "best friends." Illuminated by the pale light, she is defenseless in her loungewear, her eyes burning with a slight heat. A conversation that was supposed to be just killing time draws closer, step by step, to a boundary from which there is no turning back.
