Amidst the bustle after school, Ren Ichijo's triumphant laughter echoes through the hallway. Next to him, my ex-girlfriend Kyoko Yamaguchi ostentatiously links arms with him, while a short distance away, my childhood friend Yui Sakura stares at me with a frightened gaze.
